Hopetoun House

View from the grounds to the front facade of stately home, Hopetoun House. The stately home acted as a war hospital during the First World War. Postmarked (West Lothian) and stamped. Published in the Valentine's Series by Valentine & Sons, Dundee & London. Message on reverse (ink) reads: 'Hopetoun House Hospital, South Queensferry. A thousand thanks for your kind letter. I am coming home this weekend on furlough. So I will not forget to give you a call. Sr R Blyth.'
