View of the Royal Infirmary in Glasgow, including the street in front. Two figures can be seen chatting in the street in front, whilst other pedestrians stand near the hospital wall. Not postmarked or sramped. Message on reverse (ink, taking up the entire space) reads: 'Dear Mr & Mrs Hart, Received your welcom P C. Glad to hear you are having a good time. What a nice view of Conway Halls. Had a letter from Miss Hill. She intends going back Sept or Oct. i am trying to get her to ait till January so I am waiting her reply. Had a letter from Mr Hegley. He goes back in September. Have never heard from Miss Cave. I wonder if Mrs Clark is still as Cranky. Well I hope you ahve a good trip & a safe journey. Tell Mr Hart sorry I won't be able to get a smell of his [.....] this. Best regards. From your sincere friend Mrs Mode.'
